Strawberry Popsicles

Yesterday was sunny and nice. I thought Spring was here. I asked Amanda to take a walk with me around the neighborhood but we ended up walking in our drive way. The walk way in my neighborhood were still covered with snow and the wind made the warm air felt cold.

Making strawberry popsicles with Amanda

I am trying out a new routine with her. Amanda has been lack of discipline which is our fault. So far they seem to work. Part of the new routine is to do a project with her. Yesterday, she suggested making strawberry Popsicle. Fortunately, I still have some frozen strawberries in the freezer. Amanda helped me to put the popsicles sticks on. She was so happy, she kept asking when she could taste the popsicles.

Amanda's popsicles

There is no exact measurement for making these strawberry popsicles. I just boiled the frozen strawberries in a deep pot, added enough sugar and waited until it was cooled.

Strawberry popsicles

Raising a child is not an easy task.
I was aware from the start that how our children behave will be reflected on us.
I am hoping all our effort can help Amanda to grow to be a decent person.
