I was once asked by my friend, Nehal, to take some pictures of Presque Isle state park whenever I visit the park. I knew Nehal while studying at Behrend college. She is now living two thousand miles away from Erie, PA.
A little bit information about Presque Isle State park from Wikipedia.com,
It is a 3,112-acre Pennsylvania state park on an arching sandy peninsula that juts into lake Erie in the United States. The peninsula sweeps northeastward, surrounding Presque Isle Bay along the park's southern coast. It has 13 miles (21 km) of roads, 21 miles (34 km) of recreational trails, 13 beaches for swimming, and a marina.
Presque Isle is one of Erie's favorite places that we like to go during the summer. It is my choice of park to visit during the warm season. Most of the time, we take a long walk in the park. There is a long path you can use whether you are walking, running or cycling. Many people also use the park as a picnic ground.

or you can simple come to the park and sit on a bench while enjoying the sound of birds and the wave,

From one side of the park you can see some part of downtown Erie. The tall tower is called Dobbins Landing.

Presque Isle park is also a sanctuary of different kinds of bird since there are lots of swamp areas,
